Healthy Rewards Program
Starting January 1, 2025, the CARE Card Program will transition to the Healthy Rewards Program.
Any rewards earned before January 1, 2025, will be part of the CARE Card Program. Any rewards earned on or after January 1, 2025, will be part of the Healthy Rewards Program.
If you have existing rewards on an activated CARE Card, you may continue to use your CARE Card until March 31, 2025. After this date, you will receive a Healthy Rewards gift card to replace the funds on your CARE Card. To check the balance on your CARE Card, visit www.myotccard.com.

To begin earning rewards, all you have to do is complete one of the health screenings, visits, or activities listed below.

Once your provider notifies us that you have completed a healthy activity, you will receive a text or an email with a link to the AmeriHealth Caritas DC Healthy Rewards Marketplace. Click that link, follow the prompts, and choose the gift card of your choice from a select list of retailers. You may choose to receive either a digital or physical gift card.
The AmeriHealth Caritas DC Healthy Rewards Program allows you to choose gift cards from the following retailers:*
- Walmart
- Safeway
- CVS Pharmacy
- Kohl’s
- T.J. Maxx
- Gap and baby Gap
- The Home Depot
- Smoothie King
- Apple
- Google Play

Your rewards may not be converted to cash, and rewards expire if you lose AmeriHealth Caritas DC eligibility or are disenrolled from the plan for more than 60 days. You cannot use your rewards to purchase alcohol, tobacco, or firearms.
